* STARS *

They say when you look to the stars you’re looking into the past…history. What’s hopeful about that?
Teasing twinkling nothings that lead us foolishly and continues to subsequently lead us back………………….
Back to NOW- History being made- that was made, that is made.
They say keep your chin up…look to the sky, the sky’s the limit- there’s those deceitful stars again, I’d rather look down…..Down to my feet that lead my path- footsteps to a future. These wrote my history, these stay safe. These anchor me…Instead of YOU- who transposed my weight into nothing allowing me to get lifted, becoming lighter- that’s how I drifted into the unknown.
The beautiful nature that surrounds you- illusions- sweet
confusions that live in your mind…Now reality never existed because you own this feeling like the good deeds you sowed… your heart believes it, the guard never existed.
Your chins up, it’s been up for quite some time now. You don’t acknowledge the past- so quick to forget where you’re coming from-so quick to buy in…Entwined and inseparable are fantasy reality…..Fantality….fantasyreality. It’s so real…………………
Colours too vibrant they alert your eyes- your eyes are awoken, senses now live. Tastes are sweet-smiles stay……surroundings friendly-love is shared; you’re a witness to enjoyable living. Time can’t wait for another day of it- it moves so quickly……….this way…….this stays………………………..
“TRIP”……… 4 walls- alone-storms cry. You forgot about your feet. Their yours, they carry your baggage, they know your paths…..why didn’t you look down?
4 walls- feelings of isolation, distrust, everything’s broken here because you never fixed it. Storms cry for your attention. BAWL for your hands to mend- to heal- to admit and to deal. Not to leave to fly miles south.

  1. "I’d rather look down…..Down to my feet that lead my path- footsteps to a future." excellent point.

    Since we're both passionate about poetry/thoughtful expression, I was thinking of sharing followers by posting a link to our individual blog on each other's site. Essentially connecting Poetry Imitates Life & Creative Outlet together. What do you think?
